Group Size If groups require full board and instruction then we usually take groups of 9,18, 27 or 36 plus leaders. If groups book less than 27 for the main house then they will probably be sharing with another group. If one large group would like to take all the accommodation then this may on occasion be possible. Groups may be accommodated in any of the KMC buildings although we will try to give groups their preferred choice.
Pastoral Care There are no permanent KMC staff living on the premises and therefore group leaders are responsible for pastoral care. This is particularly relevant at nightime. KMC staff are available for call out in emergency.
Domestic Matters The course fee usually includes cooked breakfast, packed lunch and evening meals (often with a choice of menu). A small 'goodie bag' is provided for the journey home. Special dietary requirements should be notified to KMC at least one week before arrival. All visitors must keep their own rooms clean and tidy and 'duty' groups are required each day to help serve meals, wash up and undertake small domestic tasks. Duty groups should comprise of five or six and young people should be supervised by a member of staff. It is helpful if these groups are organised before arrival.
